FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: accelerometer has a piezoelectric sensitive element working on compression and stretching and an inertial element electrically connected in parallel and pressed to the base of a housing. The polarisation vectors of said elements are aligned along the axis of sensitivity of the accelerometer and are directed in different sides and the inertial element is made from monocrystalline dielectric material which is piezoelectric material.

EFFECT: invention increases axial sensitivity of the accelerometer with retention of its size and mass, reduces the offset value of the neutral line to virtually 0 and reduces cost price.
