SUBSTANCE: multi-purpose test bench serves to check up control systems of both new-range electric locomotives and operating ones. Test bench exploits industrial computer that has up to 20 free slots to receive standard adapters of available set and allows simulating, in fact, all required diagnostics signals. Adapters inserted in said slots are automatically connected to computer system bus and controlled by it as integral component of computer.

EFFECT: expanded performances in generating and reading off discrete, analog and pulse signals, reduced costs and simplified design, higher quality of signals.
