FIELD: automated control.

SUBSTANCE: diagnostics process is based on software emulation of output sequences into tested units via unit of discrete input-output, which contains interface circuit connected to computer system bus ISA for interfacing with ISA bus by data and control highway, and pods which are arranged as loop with plug-and-sockets for connection of diagnosed units, and for receiving response information through them.

EFFECT: provides for detection of hidden faults and emulation of medium, where the diagnosed unit actually operates, at that it is not required to create a new hardware complex when changing the tested unit.
