DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIER WITH INCREASED AMPLIFICATION FACTOR Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC H03F3/45

Abstract RU 2400924 C1

FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as amplification device of analogue signals, in structure of analogue microcircuit chips of various functional purposes (e.g. SiGe-operational amplifiers (OA), comparing units). Differential amplifier with increased amplification factor includes input differential stage with the first and the second current outputs, output transistor the base of which is connected to the first current output of input differential stage and through the first load bipole is connected to the first power source bus, the second load bipole connected with emitter of output transistor and output of the device. To the scheme there introduced is the first, the second and the third additional transistors, bases of the first and the second additional transistors are integrated and through the first matching circuit of potentials are connected to emitter of the third additional transistor the collector of which is connected to the first bus of power source; emitters of the first and the second additional transistors are integrated and through the second matching circuit of potentials are connected to the second bus of power source; collector of the first additional transistor is connected to the first current output of input differential stage; collector of the second additional transistor is connected to emitter of output transistor, and collector of output transistor is connected to base of the third additional transistor and connected to the first bus of power source through current-stabilising bipole.

EFFECT: increasing amplification factor as to voltage in 8-10 times at using low-resistance load bipole (for example, R5=1-2 kOhm).
