FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: as initial stock it applies flexible foiled dielectric. In process of treatment tape-drive mechanism moves stock through current contact jaw, zone of electrochemical oxidation and zone of electrochemical treatment (ECT) to receiving reel. In zone of oxidation on surface of stock foil strong oxidic film is created by electrochemical oxidation. As a result, removal of metal in ECT zone is done mainly under high density of electric current at section of stock foil corresponding to non-conducting pattern of printed circuit board. At other areas of stock foil, where lower density of electric current, previously formed oxidic film blocks process of anode dissolution of foil, which reduces removal from surface of printed conductors, and accordingly improved quality of manufactured flexible printed circuit boards.
EFFECT: improved quality of flexible printed circuit boards due to reduced removal of metal from surface of their conductors.
