FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: there is produced melted austenite steel containing in wt %: 0.05 - 0.78 % C, 11.0 - 14.9 % Mn, 1.0 - 5.0 % Al, 0 - 2.5 % Ni, iron and unavoidable impurities - the rest. Microstructure of steel contains at least 80 of volume % of austenite, while summary contents of nickel and manganese are from 11.0 to 15.9 %. Steel is cast to an ingot or continuous-cast work-piece, or continuous-cast thin-walled work-piece or continuous cast strip. The ingot, continuous-cast work-piece, or continuous-cast thin-walled work-piece or continuous cast strip are hot-rolled producing hot-rolled strip of required thickness.

EFFECT: production of cold-rolled strip.
