FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, specifically to molded light-weight steel. Steel contains elements in the following ratio, wt. %: C from 0.02 to 1.0, Mn from 5 to 9, Si 4 or less, P up to 0.1, S to 0.1, N to 0.03, Sb from 0.003 to 0.8, preferably to 0.5, at least one of the following carbide-forming elements: Al 15 or less, Cr from 0.1 to 8, Mo from 0.05 to 2, Ti from 0.01 to 2, V from 0.005 to 1, Nb from 0.005 to 1, W from 0.005 to 1 and Zr from 0.001 up to 0.3, if necessary up to 5 Ni, up to 0.005 Ca, up to 0.01 B and from 0.05 to 2 Cu, the rest is iron and impurities, at that ratio Sb/C makes 1.5 or less.
EFFECT: steel has improved mechanical properties and high resistance to delayed formation of cracks induced by hydrogen, and hydrogen embrittlement.
