SUBSTANCE: method and device for playing back musical data are disclosed. At the beginning of an exercise, an exercise information analyser 23 calculates the number of exercises for a user based on personal profile information relating to the body of the user, including body weight, height, age and sex of the user, and characteristic information such as playback time and tempo of the played back musical data. A controller 10 outputs the number of exercises on a display 34 to notify the user on the number of exercises. An audio signal processor 31 plays back audio data through a loud-speaker, where said audio data are selected based on personal profile information.
EFFECT: playing back data whose tempo corresponds to tempo of movement of the user.
