SUBSTANCE: in one version of realisation, method for generation of excitation signal in high-frequency range includes stages, at which spectrum of signal is harmonically expanded, and the signal is based on excitation signal in low-frequency range; envelope is calculated in time area of signal, which is based on excitation signal in low-frequency range; and noise signal is modulated in accordance with envelope in time area. Method also includes stage, at which (A) harmonically expanded signal on the basis of harmonic expansion result and (B) modulated noise signal on the basis of modulation result are combined. In this method excitation signal in high-frequency range is based on result of combination.
EFFECT: invention provides for expansion of narrowband voice coder to support transfer and to preserve wideband voice signals with increased throughput capacity.
