SUBSTANCE: in one version of the method, generation of a signal for exciting the high frequency band involves generation of a spectrally spread signal by spreading the spectrum of the signal, which is based on encoding the signal for exciting the low frequency band; and performing sparseness eliminating filtration on the signal, which is based on encoding the signal for exciting the low frequency band. In this method, the signal for exciting the high frequency band is based on a spectrally spread signal, and the signal for exciting the high frequency band is based on the result of the sparseness eliminating filtration.
EFFECT: spreading a narrow-band speech signal in order to support transmission or storage of broad-band speech signals while increasing the transmission capacity.
