FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical systems used for safe surveillance and firing from behind obstacles and for video and audio documenting of battle process, installed on firearms, such as guns, long barrelled guns and grenade launchers. Video sight consists of optical block of video camera, block of electronics with accumulator and display with sighting mark, which are connected by a cable, and element of its fixation to rifleman. Optical block of video camera hingedly installed on rotary bracket inside protective jacket with the possibility to align position of optical axis comprises zoom lens with optical zoom of at least 10x. Jacket of optical block is fixed over barrel or bolt of gun with the help of fixing brackets inserted into seats of adapter that has previously been installed on gun. Block of electronics arranged on the basis of domestic digital video camera comprises protective jacket with spring element of fixation, making it possible to reliably and quickly fix electronics block on rifleman clothes using one hand, in transport and fighting position, and to remove it using one hand. Optical block of video camera in transport position is compactly fixed on jacket of electronics block.
EFFECT: possibility to fire with various positions of rifleman without gun alteration, surveillance and firing using video sight with various zooms and record of battle into memory of video camera, transfer of video sight into transport position takes 5-10 seconds, alignment of optical axis of video camera in compliance with standard sight of gun.
