FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: electrostatic gyrotron is a command gyroscopic sensitive element which combines functions of a single-component angular velocity sensor and functions of a two-component linear acceleration sensor, and has a sealed cover which simultaneously serves as a magnetic screen around a dielectric housing which integrates two symmetrical cylindrical semi-houses on the inner surfaces of the butt-ends of which there are four electrodes of the corresponding shape on each. Both semi-houses are attached to a circular elastic steel plate divided by narrow annular slits into three parts: plate, frame and docking flange, and are joined together by four resilient members such that common axes of symmetry of pairs of torque members lying in on plane and which join the plate and the frame, the frame and the docking flange in pairs are orthogonal to each other. At the centre of the plate there is a hole for attaching an axially symmetrical dumb-bell. The area of each electrode is maximal and the electrical circuit of the device is based on the principle of signal frequency division.

EFFECT: invention increases accuracy and reduces cost of the angular velocity sensor.
