FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device for tray filling with nuclear fuel pellets comprises loading chute (2), limiting channel (4) of pellets motion, at the same time chute comprises upper end (8), intended for pellets introduction, and lower end (12), intended for arrangement near tray, besides specified chute (2) comprises folds (18, 20, 22), creating obstacles on the way of pellets motion so that specified route is divided into sections, at the same time specified folds (18, 20, 22) are capable of alternate actuation, and lower end (12) of chute is arranged with the possibility of displacement for its approaching or moving away from tray bottom. Object of the present invention is also method of tray filling with nuclear fuel pellets using the device in compliance with the present invention.
EFFECT: minimum damage of nuclear fuel pellets, even flooding of trays.
