FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device designed to generate oscillations in fluid flows and can be sued in various physical-chemical, hydromechanical and heat-and-mass transfer processes in "fluid-fluid" and "solid-fluid" systems. Proposed apparatus comprises casing with cover and inlet and outlet branch pipes. Said casing houses radially aligned rotor and stator with channels in sidewalls and audio chamber. Inlet branch pipe accommodates nozzle reciprocating therein with its inlet section representing a confuser and outlet section making a cylinder. Rotor inner face surface, opposite nozzle outlet, accommodates a rod with cavitator arranged on its end face and representing truncated cone with its smaller base directed towards fluid flow. Cavitator side surface has ledged made in the form of tangential teeth. Said cavitator is arranged in the nozzle cylindrical part. Cavitator side surface ledges represent circular teeth.
EFFECT: higher intensity of hydrodynamic cavitation in rotor inner space and wide range of processed fluids.
