FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to conduct and intensify various physico-chemical, hydromechanical and heat-mass-exchange processes in 'liquid-liquid' and 'solid-liquid' systems. The apparatus has a housing with pipes for inlet and outlet of medium, concentrically installed rotor and stator, with channels in sidewalls of cylinders, a sounding chamber and a drive. A nozzle is installed in the inlet pipe with possibility of back and forth movement, where on one or more concentric circles there are inclined or parallel axes of the nozzle, convergent-divergent or cylindrical channels. Their inlet and outlet openings lie on a circle of the same diameter, and the outlet of the channel is displaced on the arc of the circle opposite the direction of rotation of the rotor. There is a cylindrical rod on the inner end surface of the rotor opposite the outlet of each nozzle channel. The surface area of the end face of the said rod completely covers the area of the outlet opening of the nozzle channel.
EFFECT: wider range of treated media with significantly varying viscosity and intensification of physico-chemical, hydromechanical and heat-mass-exchange processes.
