FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ocean investigation technique using self-contained and automatic submersibles. The method consists in series cable connection by means of buoy rope and building submerged cable vertical consisting of anchor with disengager, measurement probe including probe drive through which the buoy rope is passed, connecting it with submerged streamlined float via hoist controlled from pressure sensor. The main part of buoy rope is packed on bifilar reel which is placed between anchor and probe. Then the connection is assembled using mechanical link equipped with controlled lock and hauled to specified water area point. The depth of this point is preliminary measured to determine buoy rope length, working level and float deepening. While the assembly is being submerged following is controlled: lock disengagement depth, assembly separation and cable vertical deploying in ocean column exactly at the specified point.
EFFECT: accuracy of installation is provided, deviation, drift and cable vertical curvature are excluded due to lack of contact with vessel during installation.
