FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: waste water is treated with bioflocculants in a flocculator 2, fitted with a low-speed stirring device 10. The waste water is then fed into the mixing chamber of a floatation installation 3 where it is brought into contact with air-saturated water in a pressure saturation tank 6. Floating floatation products are removed using a system of paddles or an overflow system 8 and then taken to sludge beds through a gutter. Purified water comes out of the floatation installation 3 through a siphon-type partition through a line 9 into an aerotank 4. Dissolved biogenic elements are biochemically oxidised by an immobilised biofilm on carriers 14 in the aerotank 4. The purified water-sludge mixture is settled in a secondary settling tank 5. The deposited biomass is partially fed into a hydromechanical treatment device 16 and partially into the inlet of the aerotank 4. Purified water comes out of the installation through an overflow opening 15.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency and depth of purifying waste water with high concentration of different types of contaminants.
