FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves treating water in the field of a galvanic pair while feeding air and then separating the solid phase. Waste water in form of chloride wastes containing antimony, gold, lead, copper and nickel undergoes two-step galvanochemical treatment using the following galvanic pair materials: carbonaceous textile material batting and an antimony alloy with the following content of parent metals, %: Sb - 67.82; Cu - 1.43-2.60; Ni - 2.10-2.70; Sn - 0.12-0.20; As - 0.012-0.07; Fe - 0.043-0.32; Pb - 17.72-33.62; Au - 0.123-0.230; carbonaceous textile material batting and cathodic antimony with antimony content of not less than 95%, carbonaceous textile material batting and crudum. The device consists of an apparatus for the first purification step and an apparatus for the second purification step, wherein the apparatus for the first purification step is in form of a filled galvanic pair gauze cylinder with 2-3 mm holes, fitted with a cowling with socket pieces for inlet of air, waste water and inlet and outlet, funnels with dispersing pipes, a trough whose bottom is covered by a lavsan mat, a discharge socket piece and a filter filled with activated carbon particles, connected to the waste water outlet socket piece, and the apparatus for the second purification step lies at a level lower than the apparatus for the first purification step, such that waste water flows under gravity to the second purification step, and includes a waste water inlet socket piece, an aeration chamber, perforated grids, a disc with holes, a rotary distributor in form of a vertical disc with holes attached to a horizontal shaft, and a series of perforated pipes with a galvanic pair which can rotate and are inclined towards the discharge side by 6°.
EFFECT: reduced expenses and improved purification.
