SUBSTANCE: method for repeated transfer of data unit in mobile communication system comprises stage, where: it is determined whether the first data unit fits into the volume of data unit specified by the lower level, if the first data unit has not been successfully transferred to receiving side; the first data unit is segmented to generate the second data unit, if the first data unit does not fit into the volume of data unit specified by the lower level. At the same time the second data unit fits into volume of data unit specified by the lower level; and the second data unit is repeatedly sent to receiving side.
EFFECT: improved process of repeated data transfer.
