FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: solar power plant has a system (1) of solar modules which contains multiple solar modules (2) lying on the same plane for converting solar radiation to electrical energy and an adjustment device for positioning the system (1) of solar modules depending on the position of the sun, wherein the system (1) of solar modules can be turned about at least one axis of rotation, characterised by that the edge (7) of the solar modules (2) is at least partially in a J-shaped holding profile (4, 4'), where the J-shaped holding profile (4) has a pot-shaped stabilising section (6) and a groove section (8) for positioning the edge (7) of the solar module (2), the stabilising section (6) has a wall (16) of a base and a first lateral wall (14) running from the wall (16) of the base and a second lateral wall (15) which are at a distance (B) from each other and/or have height (H), the value of which is greater than half the thickness (D) of the solar module (2).
EFFECT: stable and simple mounting of solar modules.
