FIELD: fire fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: fire fighting unit comprises a body that accommodates an in-built vertical vessel with a siphon pipe. The fire fighting fluid level divides the vessel into liquid and gas contents, while the vessel being under compressed gas and has a pressure indicator. At the output of the vessel, there is a pyrotechnic lock-start gear electrically connected through a control unit with fume detectors, and hydraulically connected with an atomiser connected to the siphon pipe, while the atomiser is provided with a cylindrical core space with an integrated radially spaced gas-liquid flow inversor in the form of a side-hole blind cup. The side hole area exceeds the outlet area of the atomiser, while the siphon pipe has a uniform cross section and is provided with a diffusion cell at the end turned to the bottom of the vessel. The pressure indicator is equipped in the upper part of the vessel wherein a gas feed connection with a check valve at the end located in the gas content of the vessel, is mounted.

EFFECT: higher effectiveness of fire extinguishing ensured by higher response speed.
