FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling equipment, particularly to roll mill stand design. Proposed stand comprises at least one roll 1 with rotational axis (a). Said roll 1 seats in two pads 2, 3 located at roll ends and having central plane (ME). Roll 1 can be installed by means of at least one mount 4 perpendicular to rolled material feed direction (F). Each pad 2, 3 is jointed with bending lever 5, 6 to impart to roll a bending moment. Aforesaid mount 4 is arranged to allow mounting force at point (G) to bending lever 6, 7 and via it to pad 2, 3, said point being the most remote from the pad in central plane.
EFFECT: simplified method, reduced number of structural components.
