FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment intended for assembling and electron-beam welding to be used in aerospace and aircraft engineering, transport and chemical industries. Proposed device comprises bed 1 with guides 2, front stationary driven slide 3 with centraliser 13 designed for mounting the shell to be welded, carriages to place shells to be welded together thereon that can move in the bed guides, rear driven slide 4 with clamping device and electron-beam gun. Portal guides 6 are arranged parallel to bed guides 2. Local chamber 8 is arranged on carriage to move in portal guides 6. Electron-beam gun is arranged on local chamber 8 furnished with end seals made up of circular chambers with their inner spaces communicated with working medium feed system. Said chambers accommodate driven clamping devices. Carriage supports represent swinging elements.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of welding.
