FIELD: methods and devices for metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding production and can be used, for example, in making cylindrical shells. Device, which is capable of automatic welding of shell with bottom in vertical or horizontal position, comprises common frame with crossbar and with support guides, on which there is movable platform, located on frame front and rear headstones, horizontal bed, welding device, connected to welding head, protective gas supply system, movable column, welding head linear movement module and control unit, at that on the head stock rotary mechanism is installed for installation and turning said shell in its horizontal position, made in the form of a hollow telescopic horizontal axis extending from the headstock with the possibility of axial rotation and adjustment of the value of its flight, on which a vertical support disc and a supporting disc are fixed.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides higher operating performances of the device.
