SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in control and overload protection systems incorporated with jib cranes. Proposed electronic system comprises at least one microcontroller to control and protect jib crane, and separate components represented by electronic units, control boards, transducers and/or actuation devices. Data exchange between separate components of said system is effected via load, boom, haulage or mounting steel rope. For this, units of data exchange between aforesaid components comprise, in particular HF current generators and receivers. Transformers are mounted at the outputs and inputs of the latter. Transformers magnetic circuits envelope steel rope, or steel rope is used as data transfer line.
EFFECT: higher reliability, ease on mounting and servicing.
