FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of gas hydrates in hydrated-gas methods of desalination and purification of sea and mineralised water. Proposed method consists in that liquefied gas, for example Freon, dispersed in water is continuously fed into reactor at the given static pressure and temperature below equilibrium temperature of hydrate formation. Impact waves act on the mix with pressure increasing and liquefied gas drops being crushed, production of gas inclusions and hydrated-gas shells on the surface of liquid drops.
EFFECT: higher rate of hydrated gas formation.
