FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in loading of its plunger through speed-up head by force impact with specified force and speed, at the same time at first hydraulic buffer is tested while imitating natural conditions of its loading at initial section of speed-up head and plunger movement, then hydraulic buffer is brought into initial state, and in this position speed-up head is fixed relative to plunger, which is moved relative to spindle in position, corresponding to its condition after testing of hydraulic buffer with imitation of natural conditions of loading at initial section of speed-up head and plunger movement, afterwards, hydraulic buffer is tested by loading its plunger through force impact, corresponding to force impact at the following sections of plunger movement under natural conditions.
EFFECT: testing hydraulic buffer in two stages makes it possible to do reliable assessment of serviceability of hydraulic buffers included into composition of existing and promising launching sites, without threat of buffers damage by working fluid overpressure.
