FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground testing of mechanisms for opening spatial transformable structures of space vehicles, for example, folding antennas, solar panels. The load simulation device consists of an electrical mounting plate with an electric motor as a load source, a force sensor and a servo control system with coordination of the output signal and the control signal. A servomotor with positioner function is used as the electric motor. On the output shaft of the servomotor, a ball screw pair (ball screw) is installed with the ability to convert rotational motion into translational linear motion. The strain gauge force sensor is fixed on the one side on the electrical mounting plate and on the ball screw on the other side. An adapter is installed at the end of the ball screw rod for connection to the test object. The operator panel can record test results.
EFFECT: possibility of complete and accurate testing of deployment drives of transformable spacecraft systems, increase in the functionality and manufacturability of the device and the testing process as a whole, the possibility of setting test parameters.
