SUBSTANCE: invention relates to exhaust gas purification catalysts, particularly to adsorbent intended for removal of hydrocarbons from exhaust gases in cold starting. Proposed adsorbent represents an organometallic MOF-5-type carcass structure with residues of terephthalic or biphenyl dicarboxylic acid that makes a linking element. Points of cubical lattice comprise clusters that represent fragments of inorganic metallate oxide polyhedrons containing ions of zinc, or copper, or cobalt.
EFFECT: efficient hydrocarbons adsorbent.
