AEROSOLISATION INSTALLATION Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC B05B17/00

Abstract RU 2406572 C2

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosolisation devices intended for disinfection of various closed premises, transport facilities, containers, etc. Proposed device to spray anolyte-type aerosols comprises 1 to 6 ejector sprayers mounted to turn in horizontal plane. It comprises chamber with nozzle accommodating branch pipes to feed spayed liquid material and air. Air feed branch pipes are arranged tangentially in aforesaid chamber. Branch pipe and nozzle diametres are interrelated by equation Do=(0.5÷0.7)D2c/Dk, where Do is fluid feed branch pipe diametre, dc is discharge nozzle diametre, Dk is diametre of incoming air inlet channel diametre. Aforesaid sprayers are arranged in cylindrical container above fluid so that outcoming flow is directed along chord relative to cylindrical container wall. Projection of aerosol plume central axis on cylinder wall does not cross wall top edge in at least one turn.

EFFECT: possibility to use unstable fluids for aerosolisation, for example solutions activated electrically, thus allowing to produce biocidal aerosol with particle size smaller than 3-5 mcm.
