SUBSTANCE: invention relates to train coupler auxiliary device designed to center stiff-type couplers. Proposed device comprises casing fitted on pendulum suspensions to car frame with moving support fixed in the car vertical guides intended for coupler tail part that rests on power spring arranged in the casing and ratchet-and-pawl mechanism coupling said casing with said support. Said support is furnished with two guides, one representing a cutout made in the casing. The other guide represents guide sleeve secured on the casing for the rod arranged inside power spring and furnished with damper arranged on the rod, right between the casing and rod thrust whereon ratchet teeth are made.

EFFECT: ruling out wear and noise, simplified design, longer life and higher reliability.
