FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad transport, particularly to rolling stock brakes. Braking assembly comprises two braking bars arranged on each end of braking assembly, braking heads, brake shoes, lever transmissions and braking system drive assembly. First load transfer element is jointed to opposed first ends of each lever transmission, while second load transfer element is jointed to second end of one of lever transmissions. Second load transfer element runs toward opposite second end of one of the opposite lever transmissions. Brake drive assembly comprises flexible elastomer element tightly and directly jointed to mount used to secure brake drive assy to braking system rigid structure and to pusher coupled with lever transmission. Brake drive assy is coupled with pressurised fluid source to allow inflating aforesaid flexible elastomer element to initiate braking.
EFFECT: improved control over brake shoe force, visual indication of work stroke.
