FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to process solid domestic wastes. Solid domestic wastes from a receiving bin are loaded by a sealed boxlike feeder into a pyrolysis reactor 2, made from concrete rings and mounted on a high dump pile. There is a gas burner 5 at the base of the pyrolysis reactor 2. Parallel to the pyrolysis reactor 2 there is a tubular divided collector 3 joined to the pyrolysis reactor 2 by multiple connecting pipes fitted with perforated heat-resistant linings. Water vapour is released into the atmosphere from the top of the pyrolysis reactor 2 where wastes are dried. Pyrolysis gas is released into the gas burner 5 from the bottom of the pyrolysis reactor 2 where wastes undergo thermochemical decomposition.
EFFECT: invention enables design of an efficient pyrolysis system working on solid domestic wastes.
