FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: crushed wastes mixed with CO2 and H2O are pumped through a gasifier; the formed gaseous products together with water vapour are quenched in a water-cooled quenching apparatus, further cooled to 40-50°C, after which they are pumped by an exhaust pump through an apparatus for removing dust, acidic gases, sulphur compounds, resins and organic compounds. The cleaned gas is divided into two streams, one of which is fed as fuel into a burner and the second stream is passed through an apparatus for stabilising the hydrogen to carbon monoxide ratio in order to obtain synthesis gas of the required composition. Carbon dioxide is separated from flue gases in an adsorber and then fed to the input of the gasifier. A portion of the cleaned synthesis gas is used as fuel gas on a flameless burner. The heat of flue gases is recuperated using radial-spiral type heat exchange apparatus and impurities are removed from the synthesis gas using foam type mass-transfer apparatus.
EFFECT: high output of synthesis gas per unit mass of processed wastes, minimising emission of toxic components and greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, minimising content of nitrogen and compounds thereof in the obtained gas.
