FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in tapping metal in form of blast from orifice in bottom part of casting ladle into intermediate ladle and from intermediate ladle to mould installed in vacuum-chamber and in simultaneous blowing blast of metal with argon. Activity of oxygen is measured before metal ladling; metal is poured from the casting ladle into the intermediate ladle in vacuum; and simultaneously argon is introduced into metal blast. Consumption of argon supplied into metal blast during metal pouring from the casting ladle into the intermediate one is determined depending on activity of oxygen in metal.
EFFECT: reduced hydrogen and nitrogen contents in finished product.
