FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: pneumatic engine is equipped with adjusting element changing its shape and/or position under influence of centrifugal force and opening or closing orifices to a bigger or smaller degree depending on number of rotations. The orifices are arranged around circumference on plate 11. An adjusting element is formed with elastic ring 15 positioned before orifices in the direction of flow. Due to centrifugal force the elastic ring is deformed so, that it closes the orifices when number of rotations grows. Ring 15 is positioned in a chamber whereto compressed air flows via additional orifices in an additional plate and out of which air escapes through the above said orifices. Additional orifices are positioned along circumference, radius of which is smaller, than radius of the circumference surrounded with the above mentioned orifices. In non-deformed state ring 15 leaves a free passage between the additional orifices and the orifices.
EFFECT: control mechanism of engine facilitating reliable restriction of rotation frequency within specified value ranges.
