FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: solid-propellant rocket engine includes housing, rocket solid-propellant charge, nozzle and front cover arranged in the hole of the front housing bottom, the radius of which is equal to it. Front cover is made in the form of piston installed with possibility of longitudinal movement in the hole of front bottom of the rocket engine housing, fixed relative to the housing with the fixing device and equipped with thrust assembly. Dumping radius of front bottom hole is larger than that of the nozzle.
EFFECT: decreasing dimensions and weight of solid-fuel rocket engine, simplifying its construction and improving reliability.
