SUBSTANCE: method of fuel combustion in swirling-type furnace at least with one combustion chamber includes supply and combustion of air-and-fuel mixture in fuel combustion chamber, further supply of fuel to afterburner chamber and supply of heated gases to convection area of boiler; at that, fuel combustion in fuel combustion chamber is performed by means of restricting active air screen, mainly of cylindrical shape, which is formed with air flow along the perimetre of inner surface of gas-overflow opening by means of additional air annular channel retaining the burnt fuel in active combustion zone of the boiler.
EFFECT: prevention of carryover of unburnt fuel particles from furnace, and its more complete combustion.
