FIELD: thermal engineering; industrial boilers and process furnace plants.
SUBSTANCE: fuel combustion process boils down to secondary air supply to furnace through gas vent toward flow of combustion products, secondary blast air being introduced tangentially to gas vent outline. Furnace plant has fuel feeder, primary blast system, and at least one gas vent with secondary air nozzles facing the furnace toward exit flow tangentially to gas vent outline. Gas vent is made in the form of truncated cone with opening half-angle of 0° < γ ≤ 35° and length-to-diameter ratio of outflow face being 0.2 - 2; secondary air nozzles are disposed in outflow face of gas vent. Secondary-air nozzles are mounted tangentially to outflow face of gas vent on air duct disposed along axis of the latter. As an alternative, furnace plant may have fuel feeder, primary-air system, and at least one gas vent with secondary-air nozzle; the latter is annular nozzle with swirling blades and/or swirling coil disposed in annular gap for blast air supply.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, enlarged functional capabilities of both process organization and furnace plant design.
