FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: rocket shell contains separated rocket part, head part and propellant separation charge arranged between them. On the front end surface of the rocket part, in front of separation charge, there arranged is damping assembly in the form of set of six plate compensators of similar shape. Compensators are made from two various materials the density of which differs by 5…7 times, and elasticity modulus- by 30…40 times. Number of plate compensators made from the material with the lowest density comprises an integral part of the following ratio: where mmax - weight of one plate compensator made from material with the highest density; mmin - weight of one plate compensator made from material with the lowest density; mrs - actual weight of rocket shell without set of compensators; mnom - nominal (drawing) weight of assembled rocket shell; n - number of plate compensators in the set.
