FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of non-uniformity of placing a load on the surface of a transportation vehicle. This is realised by determining average weight of a load, determining weight of a load at each control point of the surface of transportation vehicle, determination of the difference in weight of the load relative the average value at each control point of the surface of the transportation vehicle and determining non-uniformity of placing the load at each control point of the surface of the transportation vehicle. If the value of the difference in the weight of the load relative the average value exceeds a given value, signalling for non-uniform placement of the weight of the load in each control point of the surface of the transportation vehicle is switched on. The current weight is compared to a given value and signalling on overshooting of the weight of the load is switched on if the current weight exceeds the given value. The device which includes strain gauges and pressure gauges, a unit for determining non-uniformity for placing the load and indicators for the same purpose connected to said sensors, also includes a unit for analysing the weight of the transportation vehicle and an indicator for overshooting of the transported load.

EFFECT: possibility of automatic monitoring of the weight of the load.
