FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: receiver is designed in accordance with a set of different architectures, including according to generalised RAKE (G-RAKE) architecture with successive interference cancellation (SIC), architecture with joint detection (JD) G-RAKE and G-RAKE architecture using minimum mean-square error (MMSE). Independent of the specific architecture of the receiver used, specific distortion correlations can be used to calculate specific signal integration weights (RAKE) and/or specific estimates of quality of channels for transmitting information on these estimates by receivers working in wideband CDMA systems (W-CDMA), where transmission is carried out through HSDPA channels by MIMO or MISO receivers. The transmitter is configured to enable receivers working in MIMO/MISO media to determine distortion correlations by signalling one or more values, for example values of the ratio of data signal transmission power to transmission power of pilot signals and/or results of allocating power to transmitting antennae for data signals or pilot signals.
EFFECT: high quality of estimating distortion correlations in MIMO, MISO systems.
