SUBSTANCE: when handing over subscriber connection from a first radio network node to a second radio network node, an access gateway is determined for processing traffic, which is more suited for the second radio network node, the traffic transmission channel is altered; and the data stream is transmitted by a traffic transmission node to the second radio network node over the said altered traffic transmission channel.
EFFECT: optimisation of transmitting signal messages and minimisation of overloading in a network when a mobile terminal changes a data stream transmission gateway.
