FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to collection of silica-alumina hollow microspheres (cenospheres) to be used in construction, oil-and-gas industry, etc. Proposed method comprises hydro separation of water suspension, withdrawal of microspheres and their dewatering. Note that, first, ash dump sediments are loosened. Float microspheres are collected by floating booms and haulage winch. To collect microspheres from ash dump surface, centrifugal motor pump is used. Note here that drainage chute is arranged on dam under the filtration container for suspension to be forced into additional filtration container. Thereafter, final wringing is affected and additional booms are arranged around water suspension discharge zone. Proposed method is implemented with the help of device comprising suction-tube dredger, interconnected polypropylene booms, 30 m long and 0.5-wide, furnished with suspensoid holder, haulage winch and centrifugal motor pump. Note here that drainage chute is arranged on dam under the filtration container for suspension to be forced into additional filtration container.
EFFECT: simplified process and equipment, reduced costs.
