SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sheet transfer device incorporating imager. Proposed device comprises control surface running along sheet transfer direction and configured to adjust sheet lateral edge position. It incorporates mechanism of sheet skew transfer at the angle that allows the sheet side edge to run into aforesaid control surface. Proposed device comprises also the sheet deformation unit configured to deform sheet side edge when the sheet is carried toward control surface by said skew transfer mechanism. Proposed imager comprises sheet transfer device and imager configured for imaging on sheet carried by sheet transfer mechanism.
