SUBSTANCE: pinion frame-cartridge with sun gears embraced by controlled band brake is arranged alongside of differential in axle housing. Each sun gear engages with two helical central gears with identical toothed rims. Note that one of the latter is rigidly coupled with differential pinion gear, while another one is arranged in differential pinion gear to move along its rotational axis and splined via semiaxle with nearest sun gear of differential.
EFFECT: fast interlocking in-out without breakage of power flow to drive wheels.
