FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for transportation of people and cargoes on both even and uneven terrain by wheeled vehicles. The proposed wheel-caterpillar vehicle comprises wheels and caterpillars driven by the engine. The caterpillar-driving sprocket is linked up with the driving wheel hub by means of epicyclic train and planetary reduction gear pinion frame, while its sun gear represents an external member of the driving axle sleeve and to brake. The levers of track rollers are linked up with hydraulic cylinder pressure chamber communicating, via the throttle and check valve, with the oil pressure controller.
EFFECT: improved cross-country capacity.
