FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: fuel cooled down to negative temperatures in aircraft tanks is forced through heater and line filter. Pressure difference at filter is controlled in forcing fuel with dissolved water released from fuel and positive temperature is maintained at filet inlet. At tank fuel temperatures below minus 12°C, fuel icing is improbable due to notable decrease in volume content of dissolved water in fuel. Pressure difference at temperature below 12°C at filer does not exceed tolerances at all aircraft flight stages accepted for engine safe operation.
EFFECT: efficient anti-acing protection.
