SUBSTANCE: user interface enables a user to select one or more recorded elements and display metadata attributes for these elements. A user can set modifiers for one or more metadata attributes and perform a search based on the selected metadata attributes and/or selected modifiers. Further, a descriptive phrase can be automatically created for one or more elements. The descriptive phrase can be created based on one or more metadata attributes. Metadata attributes can be converted to a type convenient for the user and can be joined into a sentence or some other phrase. The descriptive phrase can be linked to one or more elements.
EFFECT: use of metadata attributes to search among stored elements such as files.
