FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method for personal identification onboard aircraft involves steps on which biometrical identification is carried out inside the aircraft cabin. Identification is carried out relative at least one person inside the said aircraft cabin. Information on results of the biometric identification is obtained and the aircraft cabin is optically recorded while simultaneously carrying out biometrical identification. The number of people inside the aircraft cabin is determined. The invention also relates to a device for personal identification onboard aircraft.
EFFECT: high reliability of personal identification onboard aircraft, reliable checking of identity of persons allowed in other areas of the aircraft.
